«زاما» اسم مُستلهَم من زهرة الخُزامى، إحدى الزهور المتجذّرة في البيئة والثقافة السعودية، والمعروفة بعبيرها الأخّاذ. ويختصر الاسم بروحه الناعمة والمعاصرة هوية العلامة وارتباطها بعالم العطور والجمال.
